A Monsoon Fairytale Wedding in Thailand!
Parul and Rohit’s destination wedding in Thailand was a sudden joyride which turned into a fairytale in no time! Parul contacted us in May 2025 to organize her wedding which was scheduled in June 2025 and she wanted Thailand to be her wedding location. We barely had three weeks to do the planning and get everything in place. We did a quick research on the availability of venues and locked in Aviyana Resort in Hua Hin Thailand. Over 200 guests flew in from different countries over the world including USA, UK, Australia, Canada and India to celebrate Parul and Rohit’s wedding in Thailand. Five events were planned on a span of three nights amongst which Sangeet and Wedding and Reception were at grand scale.
Parul lives in Australia and Rohit in the USA, both have business background and their traditional roots are in the Indian state of Haryana. Rohit has a calm and sophisticated personality who prefers going with the flow whereas Parul has a bubbly and stylish personality who prefers to plan everything perfectly and hence almost every event was planned and designed according to the taste and choice of the bride!
Mehendi and Welcome Party
The beach lawn was chosen as the venue for the welcome event. Decor palette was multicolor, especially Rajasthani style. Parul wanted to give it a modern touch since the set up was near sea and sand hence we added morrocan theme elements to give it a fusion. Performances of Dholis, Indo-Thai dance troupe and the fireshow added the fun and spark which kickstarted the festivites with a blast!
Haldi
Seperate decoration set ups were put up in the Garden for the haldi of bride and groom respectively. Rohit chose the traditional and elegant yellow wheras Parul went for Fushchia with multicolor and playful elements. Dholis and fun games added to the entertainment.
Engagement and Sangeet
Taking Emerald green and silver color as a base, a grand decor was set up at the ballroom for the sangeet event. Led wing girls accommpanied the bride as she made a dazzling entry. Thai dancer troupe entertained the guests with their performances on bollywood numbers.
Wedding
From the magestic set up of the Wedding Mandap overlooking the ocean to the grooms procession in a vintage car to the bride’s dreamy entry and walking down the longest aisle to the beautiful jaimala and rituals and the grandest fireworks celebrating the union of two beautiful souls – Parul and Rohit’s wedding in Thailand was one of a kind!
Reception
The set was white and Gold and so was the celebration. The newly married couple made a toast and cut the wedding cake, after a couple of photo sessions came the time when every member of the family and friends delivered lovely dance performances expressing their happiness on the union of two beautiful people.
Our team had a great time planning and coordinating Parul and Rohit’s wedding in Thailand. Though time was short, but we learnt a lot. We are thankful and grateful to Parul’s uncle Mr Sher Singh from USA for guiding us during the entire planning process. Also thanks to Parul and Ria (Parul’s cousin) for helping us in event design and grateful to the entire family for treating our team as their own people.
