- •On Anushka: A signature Gulkand Burgandy Saree – handcrafted with small buti and miniature pearls in the fine zardosi border. The intricate floral pattern created with zardosi and pearl works in the pallu added more glamour to the saree. Anushka looked classy like a diva from 60’s in the plush maroon velvet ensemble. Sharma chose a classic uncut diamond choker with Japanese pearls and tiny emeralds with studs to match up with her wardrobe..

- •On Virat: An ivory sherwani , a hand-embroidered off-white raw-silk bandhgala, with golden motifs. He wore a pagdi made with old rose gold kota safa with zardosi work border. And complementing it was an exquisite kalgi (turban pin), also consisting of small uncut diamonds. Kohli looked dapper and matched up the look of his beautiful bride.

- •Engagement: Maintaining the vintage theme Anushka opted for a neat bun with dark red roses and rounded off her look with kohled eyes, nude lips and small bindi.
